Individual Learning Experience and Digital Transformation



Couple of months ago, I have had good fortune of coincide with HarvardX individual learning high-quality courses founded by Harvard University and MIT. It is an online learning destination for the learners everywhere. This is vision of learning. 

HarvardX and that kind of online courses have a much more personalized curriculum to follow. And its materials established for every single person to engage them. This format allowed me to brake away one-size-fits-all model of education.

HarvardX online Leaders of learning program opened my eyes on digital transformation. And I came across many kind of similar online educational academies motivated me to write this writing.

By going deep in education technology I found out one of the most influential person in education is Salman Khan. His Khan Academy is first among the other non-profit players. https://www.khanacademy.org/

Courseara, https://www.coursera.org/,  is another one, and I am happy to find similar formation in Turkey, with İstanbul İşletme Enstitüsü, https://www.iienstitu.com/online-egitimler.

End of the day I am very happy with this digital transformation make education affordable for many people around the World.

An other example of digital transformation is 4d virtual reality glasses, it took my attention when I heard it from Murat Erdor,  and I would like to share his example was real estate office. 

4D virtual reality glasses will allow you to be immersed in the property from your office, and it is crazy that you can walk in it. Murat Erdor’s example was one of the real estate agents story in Trakya/Türkiye. He is using 4d virtual reality glasses to sell territories and in the story by using it he sold many territories in 10 days instead of 6 months.

To sum up: under this digital transformation bombing, knowledge and skill requirements are changing everyday. By considering how they will change overtime let’s talk about what is desperately necessary? Let’s talk about what is possible? 

To me the sudden answer is that we need to be an innovator, and should not to be an observer! What is your answer?
